Jehovah Jireh

In Genesis, we read about Abraham's renaming of Mount Moriah as the place where God sees (Genesis 22:14) The name of God associated with this place is "Jehovah Jireh" which is translated as "The Lord Who Sees" or "The Lord Will Provide".

Are you struggling to understand or even see how God is providing for you? You might feel a bit desperate, empty or hopeless today, I am sure glad you came to read this blog post. Our Jehovah Jireh sees you and the heaviness you carry. He will provide a way for you to find peace, to find hope; He loves you so much. Join me and practice a moment of Selah (which means rest, pause or take a break). Take a few deep, lung-filling breaths, close your eyes for a second to ground yourself and just breathe.

These words are for you:

The Lord is your sun to light the way and a shield to protect you. He gives you gifts of grace and glory, he doesn’t hold back when you do what is right. He will abundantly supply every single need you have from his glorious riches. Everything works for good when you love Him; He has called you.

All you need to do is ask and He will give it to you, look for Him and you will find what you are longing for. Our God can bless you with everything you need, you will have endless resources to help others! Look at the birds, they do not want for food, God provides. And you, my dear friend, are far more valuable to Him than birds, he will take care of you.

Our God speaks to your heart and says, ‘I am confident in the plans I have for you. My plans include goodness, hopefulness and a future.’ With this truth you can rest in knowing that you have everything you need.

I hope this string of Scripture woven together will bring you encouragement. If you find yourself in a famine of hope; that is where God will provide a feast for whatever you need. Ask Him to help you see where He is moving, he will answer. Read the verses below to meditate on whatever the Holy Spirit is speaking to your heart.
