Printing at your local print shop or Office Supply Store
Maybe you don’t have a home printer, or you just ran out of ink, or you are overwhelmed with trying to print yourself? No worries, you have another option! Printing locally at a print shop or with an office supply store (Kinkos, Staples, Office Depot, etc.) is a great way to go.
How to print your Codex with a Print Shop or Office Supply Store:
This is much easier than you may think. The best part is you can have a real person answer your questions and navigate through your printing concerns. I recommend transferring your Codex files (all PDF and print ready!) onto a thumb drive. Another option some print shops offer is to download your file online or through email, then you can pick it up when its ready.
A few suggestions you may want to mention to your print shop:
- The PDF is 5.5" x 8.5"
- You will want to print double-sided
- Select a paper that will not bleed through from the other side (generally 26lb+). Also, make sure its not glossy, matte paper works best with most writing utensils.
- Print in BLACK AND WHITE. Although the color I used is a Pantone Black, be sure to mention you want black and white or it will double your cost.
